Re-introducing Oshun will be a live visual, sound and movement performance consisting of predominately all female cast, aged under 30. It will be performed in the round in a non-traditional performance setting and will be meeting place of old and new technologies, styles of performance rooted in Yoruba cosmology through the re-telling of Orisha stories contextualised for a contemporary audience. We will blur the boundaries between audience/performer through intimacy, interaction and idealisation where they journey into another space, place and reality.
